Ta'awun Community Fund (TCF) was established to provide a dignified and Shari'ah-compliant alternative for funeral support. We believe in the power of community coming together during life's most difficult moments.
The TCF Journey
TCF began with a simple observation: many families in our community were facing financial and logistical burdens during times of loss, often turning to interest-based loans or inconsistent crowdfunding.
We envisioned a better way—a system rooted in the Islamic concept of Ta'awun (mutual cooperation). A fund built by the community, for the community, where every contribution serves as a promise of support for one another.
